The Wonder of Noro

Hi needle tweakers

I have been busy designing of late and been really busy, with not much time to do personal projects.  I needed a shawl to cover a dress I want to wear for a special evening 'do' in November.  Uni starts next week so I have had to get my skates on!!!

Say hello to OCEAN

It is made from 3 skeins of Noro Sekku Lace Weight, with two frills added and then trimmed with matching  ribbon.  The colours are simply gorgeous.  The colour green matches the dress I want to wear.  A close up of the pattern illustrates the colour and texture of the yarn!!
The good yardage of the yarn makes it a reasonably priced and economical shawl.

Its so lovely to work with and the colour changes encourage you to do 'just one more row'!!  Or as I say to by hubby 'just let me finish this row'!!

I want to work with more Noro  - definitely one of my favourite yarns.

They say things come in threes, my watch battery ran out the other day and today I have broken a chain on a gold bracelet and my BlackBerry has given up!!   No more disasters for a while please!!

Catch you all soon
keep tweaking
love Catherine xxx
