Meet 'Citrine'!

I have just finished my latest crochet project a little craft bag.  Just big enough to hold a couple of balls of yarn and knitting/crochet hooks.

As we are well into the British tennis season I thought it apt to design a bag for al fresco work.  Made from 100% worsted wool (not superwash) from my stash!!

It was interesting to see just how much the fabric changed after felting -  as the stitches were quite open to begin with.  The bobbles have turned out in an almost square shape.

I am really pleased with the result!!  Due to the firmness of the felted fabric there was no need to make a lining.  Job done!!

At the moment I am busy working on new designs so my mind is all of a flurry!!  Looking forward to the start of Wimbledon.
