This is my version of Angela Best's Short 'n' Sweet, my 'Parma Violet'.

This lovely cover up was made with Debbie Bliss 'Stella' from my stash which is now unfortunately discontinued. It is made from 60% silk, 20% rayon and 20% cotton, aran (or worsted weight) it was perfect for this! I love the yarn's texture and rich colour.
The front is completed with a cute purple button and loop fastening. Pale pink beads were sewn on with pink metallic thread to accent. The photographs unfortunately do not pick this up.
The back and sleeves were made slightly longer than the pattern.
I must admit it wasn't the easiest project to do it took me about 5 attempts to master it, but now I want to make more!!!
